Founder & Eagala Equine Specialist

Anne-Marie Hosler

Anne-Marie fell in love with horses at a young age. She had always embraced the healing power of the equine. As a youth, she served as a youth Wrangler at Ride with Pride in Grapevine, Texas and a collegiate Wrangler at Pine Cove in Tyler, Texas.

Anne-Marie has her Bachelors in Fine Arts from the University of Missouri. She was a licensed Elementary School educator teaching in New Orleans, Louisiana before pursuing a corporate career in graphic design.

She moved to McCloud CA in 2019 and opened her own marketing consultancy that same year, which is now federally recognized WOSB (Women-Owned Small Business).

In 2021, Major came into her life and together they embarked on a profound (and challenging) healing journey. The results of which led to the founding of Major's Place.

Anne-Marie is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Psychology and will sit for her LMFT certification in 2028. She is a certified Yoga Instructor (MCT) and certified Mindfulness Instructor (Dallas Yoga Institute).

The ideal setting for healing

We are incredibly fortunate to operate Major’s Place out of Willow Creek Ranch, a setting that perfectly aligns with our mission of healing through equine connection. Nestled in the beauty of nature, the ranch provides a peaceful and nurturing environment where both horses and humans can thrive.

The  tranquil surroundings allow us to offer transformative therapeutic experiences that wouldn’t be possible elsewhere. This special place not only supports the well-being of our horses but also fosters a sense of safety and renewal for those seeking healing. Willow Creek Ranch is more than just a location—it’s the heart of our work, and we are deeply grateful to call it home.

Please note: This is a private ranch and is not open to the public. You must have a session scheduled to visit. Also, there are no restroom facilities readily available at our session location; plan accordingly.
